Shotts Win World Championships in a close finish...

The House of Edgar Shotts & Dykehead have claimed another World Championship under the direction of Pipe Major Robert Mathieson and Drum Major Jim Kilpatrick. Finishing closely behind in second place was Field Marshal Montgomery. For full results, click here.

It's Shotts again at Cowal and Champion of Champions

Shotts closed the RSPBA season in fine form winning the Cowal Champioships and at the same time claiming the RSPBA Champion of Champions title ahead of Richard Parkes and the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band. For details and final table, click here.

Celtic Connections...downunder :: FRANKSTON

Celtic Connections travels to Frankston on the 27th November. Featuring the Nunawading Pipe Band (fresh from their trip to Scotland), Shades of Green and Irish Dancing from (The O'Connors School of Irish Dancing). Show starts at 7.30pm. DNA @ Daylesford Highland Games

The VHPBA competition season kicks off on Saturday 3rd December at Victoria Park, Daylesford. Featuring Mass Bands, Celtic and Craft stalls and Pipe Band competition (all grades.)

Fairytale Win to FMM at World Championships

In what seemed to be destiny, Field Marshal Montgomery claimed their 4th World's title under the direction of Pipe Major Richard Parkes. Parkes who had suffered a stroke earlier this year worked himself back to good health to be able to lead his band onto the field. A truly remarkable effort against stiff competition. In second place was SFU and 3rd was The House of Edgar Shotts & Dykehead. For more info and full results, click here

RSPBA Champion of Champions Results

The RSPBA season came to a close today at Cowal and so did the results for the Champion of Champions. In grade one Field Marshal Montgomery claimed both the Cowal competiton and at the same time secured there second Champion of Champions title in 3 years. In drumming the title was taken by The House of Edgar Shotts & Dykehead and Drum Major Jim Kilpatrick. For full results, click here

Solid start for Nuna at season's opener

Nunawading Pipe Band kicked off the new season with two solid performances and a win at Daylesford. Other winners on the day were, Gr.2 Clayton RSL, Gr.3 Maryborough, Gr.4 Melbourne No.2 and Juvenile was Scotch College (Adelaide). For full results, click here

DNA attended the Daylesford Highland Games this year. A great day had by all in superb weather conditions. We would like to thank everyone for visiting us on the day and your continued support, we look forward to seeing you all at the Geelong Highland Games at Queens Park, Geelong on the 20th March 2005.
